Le Sud comes to the Christchurch Arts Festival
Jun 2009Playwright Dave Armstrong has twice won Best New New Zealand Play (Niu Sila, The Tutor) and Best Comedy Script at the 2003 AFTA TV Awards (Spin Doctors). His musical play King and Country has played to over 10 festivals throughout New Zealand. Co-creator of the TV comedy Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby, Dave's other TV credits include Skitz, The Semisis, Spin Doctors, Bro'town (script editor) and Staunch (script consultant). Dave is also author of True Colours, a satirical account of the 1996 election. Dave talks about his upcoming Christchurch Arts Festival play, Le Sud, which is sponsored by Anderson Lloyd. The Changes Proposed to the Unit Titles Bill
Apr 2009The Unit Titles Bill was introduced to the House on 5 March 2009. The Bill repeals and replaces the Unit Titles Act 1972, which governs multi-unit developments such as apartment blocks, townhouses, and office buildings. The Bill is the result of a comprehensive review of the Act, which was announced in November 2003. The Draft Standard is a revision of the 1998 version, NZS 6808: 1998 Acoustics – The assessment and measurement of sound from wind turbine generators.
