Le Sud – a brand new comedy by Dave Armstrong

Anderson Lloyd is the proud South Island sponsor of the play Le Sud written by Dave Armstrong that has drawn sell out audiences since it premiered in April as part of the Southern Lakes Festival of Colour. It has since played at the Christchurch Arts Festival during July and it's next destination is the Nelson Arts Festival where it will perform four times between 17 and 19 October. Considering the possibilities of a French speaking socialist South Island, Dave Armstrong explains how a boyhood history lesson inspired his idea for Le Sud and how close last year's New Zealand general election outcome paralleled the political characters from Le Sud.
